Kindergarten Night

Where: Library

Kindergarten parents are invited to come hear an overview of their child's kindergarten year. Information about the curriculum, schedule and expectations will be shared.
This is an event designed for parents only and childcare will not be available. Kindergarten children will come and meet their teachers on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM at our campus wide Meet the Teacher morning.

Come meet your child's teacher for this school year. Please bring your school supplies with you. Ordered school supply kits will be in your child's classroom.

Tears and Cheers Breakfast
Date: Monday, August 13, 2018
Time: 7:40 AM - 8:15 AM
Where: Library

After you walk your child to class, join us in the library for coffee and pastries! Tears and Cheers breakfast is a great way to meet other parents at McCall and meet some of our PTA members.

Some of us are crying teary-eyed and blue.
Some of us are cheering, "I'm glad summer's through!"
Whatever mood your're feeling, stop by and stay a while.
We'll be here to greet you with a coffee and a smile!

Back to School Night for Grades 1-5
When: Tuesday, August 21, 2018
Session 1 : 5:30-6:15 PM
Session 2 : 6:30-7:15 PM
Who: 1st - 5th Grade parents
Where: Classrooms

This event is designed for parents only and childcare will not be available.
Please make plans to attend this important evening!
Parents in grades 1-5 are invited to attend our Back to School Night to learn more about the expectations, curriculum, and highlights of the upcoming school year. The night will be divided into sessions so that parents who have more than one grade to attend can split their attendance. Both sessions will contain the same information. Session 1 is from 5:30-6:15 PM. Session 2 will be from 6:30-7:15 PM.

Join us for the first PTA General Meeting of the year! We will introduce the 2018-2019 McCall PTA board, discuss upcoming events, and go over the various ways you can volunteer if you choose. Remember you do not have to volunteer. You can simply share your input and ideas and stay updated on events and activities. Any support big or small truly makes a difference! Hope you can make it! We look forward to seeing you all at the meeting, and thank you so much for your continuous support!

2018-2019 School Supplies - Last Minute Order

Sorry ! As of 7/30/2018 @ 10 am, all supplies kits for all grades are SOLD OUT.
To purchase the school supplies at the store, visit the link below for the school supply lists

Have you taken care of your children's school supplies for the new school year? No? There is a very small amount of school supply kits available for purchase if you want to save your precious time and energy ! Order online now before they are sold out!

To order school supplies online, please following these instructions:
(Note: Online ordering will be disabled the night before Meet The Teacher event)

Go to our Online Toolkit
Login or signup for an account
Click on the "show" link at the end of all the visible options : "There are optional items available (show)"
There should now be a School Supplies option available for each of your registered child.
Select the grade(s) your child will be entering in the Fall and proceed with the ordering.
For multiple kits, start from the first page again where you select each of your child's name to proceed.
Remember to checkout completely!
You will receive an email from PTA Toolkit after the order is processed.

REMINDER: Order kits for the grade your child(ren) will be entering in the NEXT school year.

2017-2018 World Wear Project Earnings Summary

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your support!!! We received a total of $938.10 from World Wear Project for school year 2017-2018 !!!! That's 5539 lbs of recycled used clothing and household textiles!!! This money allow McCall PTA to sponsor school programs, field trips, and materials for McCall students. Please continue to support your school and participate while you can! If you are not familiar with this Painless Fundraiser, please see the bottom of this post for details on how to participate.

World Wear Project is a professional clothing collection company based in Dallas, Texas. Their efforts to keep millions of pounds of textiles from our landfills every year help our cities and counties by lowering their landfill space needs. Best of all, McCall PTA receives 15 cents for every pound of donated items!
How to Participate:

Simply bring in any of the acceptable items listed below and deposit in the collection box located in the rear parking lot of the school. Special Note: Please do not leave items on the ground outside the bins to maintain the integrity of our school property.
Items Accepted: Clothing, Shoes, Belts, Purses, Wallets, Hats, Caps, Backpacks, Hard Toys, Stuffed Animals, Pots and Pans
Items Not Accepted : Furniture of any kind, Knives, Kitchen appliances, Appliances with cords, Items made of glass
