Join us on the first day of school for coffee and a quick bite to eat after you drop off your child at his/her classroom. Tears and Cheers breakfast is a great way to meet other parents at McCall and meet some of our PTA members. New McCall parents are invited to attend this community building event.

Kinder Parents : It is an emotional first day of school. McCall PTA would like to invite you to coffee, pastries, and conversations!

Back to School Pool Party this Saturday, 8/23/2014 from 2 to 5 pm

Where: Trails of Glenwood Community Pool

Come on Colt Community! Let’s spend a little time together before we have to get back into the swing of the school year. Please come and see old friends and meet new ones!

Just a few things to remember before you come :
--- Please RSVP so we can plan the event accordingly.
--- Please bring your own towels and picnic basket for snacks for your family.
--- Please be respectful of the property and clean up after yourselves.
--- There is no lifeguard on duty at this pool. The responsibility of watching your children is yours.

Want to make a difference at our school? We have open positions on the McCall PTA Board just for you!

VP of Membership: Collect and assemble database of current members. Send welcome letters. Lead membership recruiting campaigns. Submit dues to State & National PTA by designated due dates.
Book Fair lead Fall & Spring: Coordinates the event; works with Scholastic for inventory, planning, promotion, volunteers, sales, deliver daily deposits to treasurer
Social Dance/event planners: Do you like to plan parties? Lead a planning committee or join a committee to plan our social events/fundraisers
Photographer: Do you like to take pictures? bring your camera to our events and take pictures for the PTA! We use these photos for yearbook and other fun projects throughout the year.

Summer Literacy - Read Aloud and Book Checkout

The McCall Elementary library will be open at 4:00 PM on the following Wednesdays:

June 18, 2014
June 25, 2014
July 30, 2014
August 6, 2014
August 13th, 2014

There will be a read aloud and then you can choose a new book to check out and keep until the following week. Please join Mrs. Kimbriel and Ms. Pereira and keep our library busy over the summer!
