Congratulations to the Madawi Family for winning our Meet the Teacher PTA contest!  Amber Madawi visited all five PTA information tables during Meet the Teacher. The Madawi Family won a gift certificate to the McCall PTA spirit store.

This is an excellent way for both You & Your Kiddos to make new friends! Please come and go as your schedule allows. McCall PTA will hold a brief, informal meeting. Refreshments will be provided by the PTA.

Back to School Night for Grades 1-5
When: Tuesday, September 8, 2015
Session 1 : 5:30-6:15 PM
Session 2 : 6:30-7:15 PM
Who: 1st - 5th Grade parents
Where: Classrooms

Parents in grades 1-5 are invited to attend our Back to School Night to learn more about the expectations, curriculum, and highlights of the upcoming school year. The night will be divided into sessions so that parents who have more than one grade to attend can split their attendance. Both sessions will contain the same information. Session one is from 5:30-6:15 PM. Session two will be from 6:30-7:15 PM. This event is designed for parents only and childcare will not be available.

Please make plans to attend this important evening!

We have invited all grandparents and parents to have breakfast with their McCall Colt(s) to celebrate Grandparents Day. The PTA is providing cards to be colored and selling one-of-a-kind photo cards at our photo booth. We will also be selling Spirit Wear and Membership. 

We need your help both at the event (9/11/2015) and also to help setup the afternoon before (9/10/2015). There were 160 grandparents last year just for breakfast. We expect a larger turnout this year. 



Note: All volunteers are required to complete the PISD Volunteer Application. This must be renewed every year.

Grandparents Day Breakfast
When: Friday, September 11th, 7:00 am - 7:40 am
Where: McCall Cafeteria

Come have breakfast* with your McCall Colts. Your grandkids can color or create a one-of-a-kind card at our photo booth**.

Grandparents don’t live in town? Bring the kids to create a card to send to their grandparents.

*You can buy breakfast in the cafeteria or bring your own. 
** Photo card and McCall Spirit Wear will be available for purchase.

Note : Please send RSVP to Mary Terhune (Mary.Terhune@pisd.edu) by September 9, 2015 so that your badge can be ready and you can skip the line!

Volunteers and board members, please complete your 2015-2016 PISD Volunteer Application online prior to the school year starting if possible. Remember, these MUST be completed yearly for you to be able to work with the children on campus at any time. It only takes 5 minutes!

Tears and Cheers Breakfast for Parents on the First Day of School

After you say goodbye to your child, come cry or celebrate the first day of school with pastries and coffee. Tears and Cheers Breakfast is a great way to meet other parents at McCall and meet some of our PTA members.

Kinder Parents : It is an emotional first day of school. McCall PTA would like to invite you to coffee, pastries, and conversations!
