Hello everyone, we need volunteers to help with Thursday packets!!!

• Signup Genius : Sign Up Here and select the days that you can come help.
• The PTA assembles and distributes the packets that the kids bring home every Thursdays.
• We have two coordinators that will be there regularly Thursday mornings. They will help you get started and organized.
• We meet and work in the teachers workroom starting at 7:45 am every Thursday once school starts.
• It usually takes 1-2 hours depending on the size of the packets that particular week.

Super Moon and Lunar Eclipse TONIGHT!

There will be a super moon and lunar eclipse tonight. Be sure to see it with the kids. Check it out at 7:30 pm when it is full moon, then maybe 8:30 pm. Again at about 9:10 pm to see the blood moon, which is more like an orange color.

• If there is any change, we will email club members Friday afternoon.

Thank you to those that attended the Grandparents Day breakfast! It's estimated that about 200 people were there!  A few of the comments – “Amazing,” “Wow,” “Awesome,” and "I love it". This event brought in $817 including new members, spirit wear, and year book sales. We hope you enjoyed the coloring cards from the breakfast and the ones that were sent home with your child.  If you have not received your completed one-of-a-kind photo card or the e-mail with your pictures, please contact us, hospitality@mccallpta.org.

A special thank you to Lavona W. for donating a full bucket of new crayons that went to the Kindergarten team. Mrs. Quinn, McCall's art teacher, was very thankful to get the remaining donated crayons and stickers.

It took so many people that we cannot possibly thank everyone that donated or volunteered their time. A special thank you to Smitha S. and Chithra G. for volunteering their time. From our PTA board, a special thank you to Jen Pilcic, Kelly Hopper, Amanda Parker, Brenda Bean, Kahalani Cruz-Luna, and Kari Yeamans for their support. Donuts for Digital Learning!
When: Friday, September 18, 2014 from 7:15 AM to 8:45 AM

Event will start with Donuts and PTA General Meeting at 7:15 AM at the Gym. At 7:30 PM, you will travel with your children to the classroom to learn about how technology will be used in your child's classroom this school year. Digital Citizenship will be introduced and reviewed with our parents and children. There will be hands on technology demonstrated as well.

Please remember to RSVP !!!

Note: Only students who attend with a parent will receive donuts!
