Unleash Your Creative Potential with Reflections - 2020-2021 Entries due 11/6/2020

Reflections is a national PTA program that encourages millions of students to express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts.  Students in preschool through Grade 12 may create and submit works of art in 6 categories:

• Dance Choreography | Film Production | Literature | Musical Composition | Photography | Visual Arts

​2020-2021 McCall Reflections Program Information

• Entries are due Friday, November 6, 2020
• Please turn in submissions to the Reflection box outside McCall.
• Winners will move onto council, regional, state and national levels.

​Annual Enrollment

• Tom Thumb Good Neighbor Program : You can help McCall PTA when you shop Tom Thumb and use your Club Card/phone number.  Fill out the Good Neighbor Program Enrollment Form with Charity Code #13029 McCall PTA and email it to painless@mccallpta.org or drop it off at any Tom Thumb customer service counter.
• Kroger Community Rewards gives back a percentage of sales if you link your shopper's card to McCall. Sign into your online account at Kroger.com. Go to Your Account at Kroger.com and select Community Rewards on the left.  Select David McCall Elementary PTA as your school (NPO #UB303). Remember, you must re-enroll each school year! 

Apps, Scanning and Shopping

• New to McCall this year is the Benefit App! Support our students whenever your Shop! Download the app, set up your secure profile, select non-profit and find McCall PTA. Benefit will donate a percentage of your shopping back to McCall PTA. Thousands of retailers supported included Walmart, Lowes, Target, airlines, Amazon, Whole Foods and more!  
• No more clipping, just scan your receipt! Download the Box Tops for education app on your phone or tablet. Create an account and select David McCall Elementary. After shopping scan your receipt and it will automatically upload box top reward in real time to McCall!  Online shopping? Earn point with digital receipts by emailing them to receipts@boxtops4education.com  from your profile email. 
• Go to Coca-Cola Give Once you are signed in with your account go to the donate now box and enter DAVID MCCALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in the first box. In the Second box enter the code from your cap or printed paper packing. If you are on a phone or tablet there will be an option to scan the product code instead of typing it in.
• Support McCall PTA by using smile.amazon.com!  Go to Your Amazon account from the navigation at the top the page, under Other Programs select the option to Change your Amazon Smile Charity, select McCall Elementary PTA.  Make sure you start your shopping with the smile.amazon.com link for the charity link to work. McCall PTA receives 1% to 6% on most purchases initiated through Amazon Smile! 
• Amazon Associate Link : McCall Elementary PTA participants in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you use this Amazon link (or the Amazon link on our home page), McCall PTA will receive a percentage of sales without costing you anything more! Clip and Collect

• Gather proofs of purchase from all Community Coffee products. If you work in a Restaurant, Hotel, Office or other businesses where purchase is made in bulk those products contain high value proofs of purchase! Return labels to a teacher at McCall or any PTA member.
• Our BIGGEST painless fundraising contributor is the World Wear Project. McCall has a collection box in the rear of the school and McCall PTA receives $0.15 for every pound of donated items!
  • Simply bring in any of the acceptable items listed below and deposit in the collection box located in the rear parking lot of the school.
  • Special Note: Please do not leave items on the ground outside the bins to maintain the integrity of our school property.
  • Items Accepted: Clothing, Shoes, Belts, Purses, Wallets, Hats, Caps, Backpacks, Hard Toys, Stuffed Animals, Pots and Pans
  • Items Not Accepted: Furniture of any kind, Knives, Kitchen appliances, Appliances with cords, Items made of glass

This year looks different than what we expected, but there are still so many ways we can positively impact our school & community ! Any Student PTA member who RSVPs to a meeting will be added to the Student PTA Google Classroom. This way, regardless of whether you are an at-home or in-school learner, you can fully participate in this year's activities !
Our Student PTA is launching virtually this year! To be able to effectively lead others, we must first lead ourselves. Therefore, our first meeting for the year will focus on Self-Leadership and Gratitude !

• If you have not signed your student up for the Student PTA, please do so as soon as possible through McCall PTA Online Toolkit.
• For the October meeting, RSVP is required and you will have two dates to choose from:
  • Option 1 : Tuesday October 20, 2020 @ 3:30pm - 4:00 pm
  • Option 2: Thursday October 22, 2020 @ 3:30pm - 4:00 pm
•  After you RSVP, your student will be added to a Student PTA Google Classroom. 
• Meeting link will be posted in the Student PTA Google Classroom when the meeting is scheduled to begin.
