Be a part of diverting thousands of pounds of shoes and clothing from local landfills by placing in your school’s bin your gently used shoes, clothing, purses, belts, wallets, hats, caps, backpacks, hard toys, stuffed animals and pots and pans. For every pound collected from you, McCall PTA receives $0.15 per pound. The benefit to you? Neater closets, drawers, toy boxes, and kitchens, and the knowledge that less textile waste will end up in our landfills. If our school can collect 2,500 lbs. or more during America/Texas Recycles Month, World Wear Project will give McCall PTA an extra $100. Help out McCall PTA  by getting your family involved in cleaning out your closets today !

Our Spirit Store is open before school on certain Fridays inside the main entrance/lobby of school.

• We are looking for 2 volunteers on those Fridays to assist her with set up, fulfilling student purchases and clean up.
• Shift starts at 7:00 am and ends at 7:45 am.

McCall 3rd Grade Program - Thursday, 11/9/2017 @ 6:30 pm
Family and friends are invited to attend the 3rd grade program, “Peace, Love, and Disco”, coordinated by the Specials Team. Your child’s artistic, musical, and rhythmic skills will be showcased in this exciting performance. Please come share this joyful and memorable time with your child!

​Where: McCall Elementary School, gymnasium
             6:00 pm drop your child off in the cafeteria
             Family and friends go to the gym
What to Wear: Please have your child wear the following:
                        Tennis shoes
                        Shorts or warm up pants
                        A McCall or solid colored red or black tshirt

McCall PTA is working with Girl Scout troop 6574 to collect items for Texas Recycles Day. 

• The following gently used items are needed : pet toys & bedding, glasses, cell phones, hearing aids, bicycles, books, CDs, DVDs, knitting supplies, evening wear, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, winter coats, housewares and sporting equipment.
• Items collected will be distributed to those in need by charitable organizations in our community.
• If you have items to donate, please place them in our collection box in the entryway of the school by 11/10/2017.
• For large items, please call or text 972-805-3006 for a pick-up request.
• Keep unwanted items out of our landfills by giving them a new home for those in need.
