Attention Colt families: One of our favorite events is coming soon! Multicultural Night will be held Friday, November 6th, 2015 from 6:30 to 9 pm in the gym and cafeteria. The grade level with the most student attendance will win an extra recess!

Multicultural Night Food Tasting
- We welcome families to bring a traditional plate to share that represents your native country.
- Please bring food to the cafeteria at 6:00 pm on Friday, November 6th, 2015
- Cut portions so that they can be can be easily shared.
- Bring your own serving spoons, spatulas, or forks.
- McCall will supply plates, napkins and other utensils.
- To bring a dish to share, RSVP at Multicultural Night Food Tasting or complete this form (English / Spanish) and return to your child’s teacher by Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015.
Lion Dance
- You won't want to miss the awesome entertainment we have planned for the evening. JK Wong Academy will be performing a traditional Lion dance. A Lion Dance embraces the beauty, art, culture, traditions, and history of China. A good performance is believed to bring luck and happiness, as seen during Chinese New Year celebrations. The performance will also have an interactive session with the kids. There will also be a martial arts demonstration that will delight and excite the audience.
Fashion Show
- We invite all McCall families to participate in our Colt Fashion Show sponsored by our very own teachers! The fashion show showcases our families’ diversity and cultural richness within our school. Parents, and/or siblings are welcome to walk with their student.

Video Demonstrations
- Show off your talent! We are inviting students to submit a 1 -2 minute informative video from your native country. This can be song, playing an instrument, a dance, reciting poem, or just speaking in your native language.
