Educators, as well as formal studies, tell us that parents’ involvement in their children’s education is very important. As parents, we want to be involved yet realize that homework is a chance to foster the development of responsibility. Our children alternate between telling us “I can do it myself” and demanding our full participation in their homework. Join other interested parents for a discussion on finding ways to put homework into perspective and make it the learning tool it is meant to be.
