The Volunteer of the Month for March 2018 is Brenda Bean! To learn more about Brenda and why she chooses to volunteer, please read her responses to the questions below.
- How long have you been volunteering at McCall? This is my fourth year to volunteer.
- Why did you start volunteering at McCall? I started when my son RJ started Kindergarten in Ms. Berks class. I want to be involved in his education and school activities.
- What is your favorite part of volunteering? With the Thursday packets I get to go into the classrooms and see all the boys and girls learning and interacting with each other and their teachers. I love to watch them all grow from year to year.
- What is your favorite way to volunteer (event, project, etc.)? My volunteering consists of Thursday packets, class parties and field trips. I don't really have a favorite. They all consists of interaction with the teachers, parents and children. McCall is a great school with great staff. We are proud to be McCall Colts!
