McCall PTA is proud to honor Karly Phillips as our November Volunteer of the Month. Karly has been volunteering at McCall for 2 years. She has 2 children; Layla in 1st grade and Presley who is 4 years old. Her current role in the PTA is Hospitality Chair and Color Run Coordinator. Karly plays a vital role in our PTA and we couldn’t be more proud to have her as a part of our team!
- Why do you feel it is important to volunteer? I really love the feeling of helping others. Creating a healthy environment for these kids is important because we do not know the struggles they may be going through. Listening to someone or putting a smile on their face makes me feel accomplished.
- What is your favorite thing about McCall? My favorite thing about McCall is the friendships I have developed over the last 2 years. I’m having fun doing this “mom thing” with everyone!
- What’s your favorite family pastime? My favorite thing to do with my family is making popcorn, getting on our big comfy couch and watching a movie together. I love the little snuggles and I do not take them for granted!
